Wolverines add Tayler Thompson to coaching staff

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are proud to announce that Tayler Thompson has been named as the team’s assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.

Thompson, from Braedenbury, Saskatchewan, has a wealth of playing experience, playing many years in pro hockey, including three seasons in the ECHL with the Orlando Solar Bears.

He retired from pro hockey two seasons ago after playing his final year with the Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League in United Kingdom.

“We are excited to add Tayler to the coaching staff,” expressed Wolverines Head Coach Landyn Cochrane. “He is a perfect fit for what we’re building here and he has tremendous amount of playing experience to draw from.”

Thompson will appear at the 2024 Waywayseecappo Wolverines Training Camp that starts on August 29th.
