Wolverines Acquire Veteran Forward Isaac Embree In Trades With Melville And Neepawa

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired the rights to forward Ryan Heino, prospect Tyson Fincaryk, and a 2019 draft pick from the Neepawa Natives, in exchange for 20-year-old forward Drayson Skulmoski, and prospect Kurtis Luke.

Completing the trade will see Ryan Heino moved to the Melville Millionaires in exchange for 20-year-old forward Isaac Embree.

The 6-foot-2, 216-pound forward from Ladner, British Columbia split duties last season between Melville and Estevan in the SJHL, where he found the back of the net 15 times, adding 26 assists in 48 games.

Embree has amassed 316 penalty minutes in 95 career SJHL games.

16-year-old defenseman Tyson Fincaryk comes to the Wolverines organization having spent the 2017-18 season in the MMHL with the Midget AAA Winnipeg Bruins, where he posted 3 assists in 22 games.

The Wolverines organization would like to wish Drayson and Kurtis every success with their new team and thank them for their efforts during their time in Waywayseecappo.
