Wolverines Acquire Forward Alex Rivet

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired 19-year-old Forward, Alex Rivet.

Rivet joins the Wolverines after spending 27 games this season with the Maine Nordiques in the NAHL. The Lewiston, Maine native scored 3 goals and 5 assists during his time with the Nordiques.

“Alex brings some added offense to an already good core of forwards,” Wolverines Head Coach & General Manager, Taylor Harnett shared. “He’s got a good pedigree and was a part of a good hockey program south of the border.”

“He played with former Wolverine Kylar Fenton who I spoke with and Kylar had great things to say about Alex. Alex understands what is expected of him coming in and we expect him to fit in well both on and off the ice,” Harnett concluded.

Wolverines fans will get their first taste of Alex on Saturday night when he’s expected to make his debut in the lineup against the Winnipeg Blues.

The Wolverines would like to welcome Alex and his family to the organization!
