Wolverines acquire Cuvelier from Freeze

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have made a trade just ahead of the start of their Training Camp.

The Wolverines have acquired forward Ashton Cuvelier from the Winnipeg Freeze for a Player Development Fee.

The Killarney, Manitoba product split his time last season in the MJHL with the OCN Blizzard and the Winnipeg Freeze, playing a bulk of his season in Winnipeg putting up 15 points in 44 games (6 goals, 9 assists).

The 19-year-old is approaching 100 games in the MJHL, and played with the Southwest Cougars in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League.

The first chance to see Cuvelier will be at Wolverines Camp which starts Thursday evening.
