Wolverines acquire Andries from Virden

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired forward Dawson Andries and a 2023 1st Round Pick from the Virden Oil Capitals in exchange for the CJHL playing rights of Luke Robson.

Andries played with the Southwest Cougars of the Manitoba U18 Hockey League last season, puttong up 45 points in 39 games. He was also a key member of Team Manitoba at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships where he won a Gold medal along with Wolverines forward Ben Roulette. He had four goals and an assist in the tournament.

Robson played with the Wolverines during the 2022-23 season. He spent last season in the WHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
