The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be finishing off their first half of the season this weekend as they play Friday and Saturday before taking two weeks off for the Chirstmas Break.
The Wolverines final home game will be on Friday as they host the the league-worst Winnipeg Monarchs. It will be the second game involving the teams this year, with the first game being a big 9-0 Wayway win. But since then, the Monarchs have held their own against their opponents and have actually won two in a row including beating the Winkler Flyers 4-3 on the weekend.
After that, the Wolverines will head back to Dauphin for the second time in the week. It will be the second of three games in four of travelling to Dauphin to take on the Kings, with them doing it again when they get back from the Christmas break. On Sunday, Dauphin came back in the third to win 4-2.
