The Waywayseecappo Wolverines much improved month has finished, and they will now go into February with a much better outlook heading into the final few months.
The team picked up points in 9 of their 11 games over the month of January, going 7-2-2 and now are only three points back of the Neepawa Titans for third in the West Division.
The two teams will face off on Tuesday at the Waywayseecappo Arena for the second time this year, and fourth time in the season series, which the Wolverines lead 2-0-1. The Titans do have two games in hand on the Wolverines, but the four point swing that comes with the game on Tuesday will be huge for both teams.
The Wolverines will then finish off the week with a game in Winnipeg on Friday night as they take on the Monarchs at 7:45pm at the Hockey For All Centre. The Wolverines have gone 2-0 against Winnipeg this year.
