Waywayseecappo Wolverines goaltender Jase Wareham has committed to Minot State University to play ACHA Division 1 Hockey for the 2026-27 season.
Wareham, from Rivers, Manitoba, played in 31 games this past season, putting up a 15-12-1 record, with a .909 save percentage and 3.07 goals against average. During the season, Wareham became the Wolverines all-time leader in goalie wins, as he finished with 37. Wareham started with the Wolverines full time in 2023.
The playoffs are when Wareham played his best hockey, putting up a .929 save percentage and 2.28 goals against average in 9 games played as the Wolverines swept the Dauphin Kings and were the only team to beat the eventual Turnbull Cup Champions, Niverville Nighthawks, during their run.
He will be suiting up for the Beavers next season, which is based out of Minot, North Dakota.
He joins former Wolverines Eric Krywy and Joey Moffatt on the team, as well as another Wolverine from this past season, Ryley Cyca.
