Tresor Wotton named MJHL Star of the Week

After only allowing one goal in two games, Waywayseecappo Wolverines goaltender Tresor Wotton was named an MJHL Star of the Week.

The 19-year-old from Foxwarren, MB, stopped 75 of 76 shots over the weekend to lead the Wolverines to a pair of wins over the Swan Valley Stampeders.

Wotton currently leads the MJHL in wins with 15, sits 5th in goals against average (2.59) and 6th in save percentage (.915).

He had a 0.50 GAA and a .987 save percentage over the weekend.

Other players named a Star of the Week, was Carter Cormier from the Selkirk Steelers and Warren Clark of the Steinbach Pistons.
