Titans beat Wolverines in low scoring affair

The Neepawa Titans beat the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 3-1 on the first half of a back to back between the two teams.

After a scoreless half of the game, Neepawa was able to outlast the Wolverines, scoring two goals in the second period.

It wasn’t until 10:29 into the second when Colton Alexander was able to put the first shot on against Landon Garbitt.

The Wolverines tied up the game just over a minute later on the powerplay when Adam Chipelski was able to beat Mason Lobreau.

The Titans put themselves back on top with a powerplay goal by Logan Pacquette.

In the third period, Connor Crowley scored off a rebound to put the Titans up 3-1.

The Wolverines switched goalies halfway through the game, as Jase Wareham stopped all 13 shots he faced in the first half of the game, and Garbitt stopped 11 of 14.

Mason Lobreau stopped 19 of 20 shots for the win.
