The Waywayseecappo Wolverines were tied up with the OCN Blizzard on Friday night heading into the third period, but gave up three unanswered to finish the game on their way to a 6-3 loss in The Pas.
The two teams went back and forth throughout the first two periods, before OCN broke away in the final frame.
The Blizzard got the scoring started when Sam Zagari got his 7th of the season at 8:32 into the game.
The Wolverines were outshot in the period 16-6, but they managed to find a goal near the end of the frame when Ryan Jossy got his fifth of the season to tie the game up.
In the second period, the Wolverines got out in front with a end to end goal by Guerin Apperley, his first of the season, just 1:29 into the period.
But the Blizzard tied it up quickly, with Quincey Supprien going in on a breakaway and slipping it past Jase Wareham to tie it up.
The Blizzard took the lead just a short time after when Sebastian Hamming put on in from the point to make it 3-2.
The Wolverines tied the game later in the period when Sean Williams scored his 14th of the season going bar down.
In the third period, in the first minute, Keenan McNeill was able to get himself in front, avoid a poke check from Wareham, and put the backhand shot up high to give the Blizzard the lead.
Four minutes later, it was Ethan Bibeau that was able to make it 5-3 to give the Blizzard some insurance.
Miguel Bouvier later put away an empty netter to make it 6-3.
The Blizzard outshot the Wolverines 40-23 in the game, with Wareham stopping 34 shots in the loss, and Loic Morin stopping 20 in the win.
The Wolverines lose their fifth straight game, and will next play the Winnipeg Freeze at the Hockey for All Centre on Sunday at 7:30pm.
