The Waywayseecappo Wolverines were able to get two points against the Winnipeg Blues, but had to do it in familiar fashion as they did one month ago.
The Wolverines once again won 3-2 in overtime over the Blues, with Sebastien Hicks scoring the OT winner, just like he did one month ago.
After a scoreless first period, the Blues scored the first goal of the hockey game with 2:37 left in the second period.
The Wolverines tied the game up just under five minutes into the third period when Aidan Herring scored from the slot to tie it up.
The Wolverines took the lead when Jacob McKague scored on a powerplay goa with ust over five minutes left to take the lead.
But with just 17 seconds left, the Blues tied it up when Brock Assailly tied the game up.
In overtime, it was a quick finish, as Hicks won the game for the Wolverines for the second time this season.
Mariko Bercier was excellent for the Wolverines, stopping 37 shots in the win. Samuel Couture stopped 29 in the loss.
The Wolverines will next head to Winkler on Saturday night to finish off the back to back.
