The Waywayseecappo snapped their three game losing streak after a 5-1 win over the Swan Valley Stampeders on Wednesday night.
Jase Wareham stopped 18 of 19 shots, Xander Mecas had a goal and an assist, as the Wolverines improved to 8-10-1 on the season.
Waywayseecappo got out to a quick start when Brodie Heimbecker scored just 1:39 into the game with a slapshot goal. It was the only score in the first period.
The Wolverines made it 2-0 when Ben Roulette scored his 10th of the season after a feed from Sebastien Hicks.
In the third, the Wolverines scored early when Dylan Duzan was able to score with a bouncing puck to make it 3-0.
After that, Xander Mecas picked up his first junior goal, and that was followed up by Henry Thunderblanket to make it 5-0.
The Stampeders did get one back when Trace Langan scored his 6th of the season.
The Wolverines powerplay went scoreless once again, but they were able to finish the game killing off all five of the Stampeders powerplays.
The Wolves will head to Winkler on Friday to take on the Flyers and then take on the Blues in Winnipeg on Saturday.
