The Waywayseecappo Wolverines third time at Credit Union Place this year went the exact way as the first two trips, as they lost 5-2 to the Dauphin Kings.
A tough start to the game for the Wolverines, as they gave up three in the first period before rallying back in the second and getting the game within one goal, before Dauphin finished them off with two at the end of the game.
Joey Kubas scored just 2:15 into the game with a rebound goal off the pad of Mariko Bercier.
The Kings then scored two goals later in the first when Cam Jansa and Kale Pratte scored in the dying minutes.
In the second period, Sebastien Hicks scored on a giveaway breakaway goal and then Blake Farthing scored a powerplay goal in the opening seven minutes.
But the Kings, with Joey Kubas scoring, made it a two goal game once again, at the 13:48 mark.
In the third, it was just an empty net goal by Rylan Gage that sealed the deal for the Kings.
Dauphin outshot the Wolverines 34-26 in the game.
The Wolverines continue the week with a trip to Virden on Thursday to take on the Oil Capitals before finishing up at home on Friday against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
