RECAP: Wolverines blown out by Titans

In their first game back at home in three weeks, the Waywayseeccappo Wolverines were blown out by the Neepawa Titans 7-2.

After having a one goal lead after the first period, the Wolverines gave up seven straight the rest of the way.

Rhett Perrin scored at the 12:28 mark of the first period, on the powerplay, right off the draw to make it 1-0.

In the second period, the Titans scored four goals, almost three minutes apart, as Mason Hartley (2), Caden Hegarty and Tim Tychonick all got on the board.

In the third, Logan Pacquette, Tychonick with his second and Keenan Skrupa added on to make it 7-1.

Deegan Wapass added one on the powerplay to make it a 7-2 game.

The Titans and Wolverines had similar powerplays, going 2/5.

Mason Lobreau stopped 39 shots in the win, while Jase Wareham stopped 33 in the loss.

The Wolverines will next face the Winnipeg Blues on Friday night, for Hockey Fights Cancer Night where they will be wearing pink jerseys for the game.
