The Waywayseecappo Wolverines scored four unanswered goals to give themselves a 5-2 win over the Neepawa Titans.
The Wolverines had five different goal scorers, as the entire lineup helped out, and great goaltending by Jase Wareham gave the team their second win of the season.
The first goal was scored by Noah Oughton just 7:16 into the game, but the Titans answered back immediately as Ty Kirk bounced all over a turnover and put it past Wareham to tie it up.
Neepawa scored again later on in the period as Owen Durigan got his first of the year.
The Wolverines responded with Dylan Duzan skating through the entire team to rip one past Alex Myers to tie the game at two heading into the second period.
In the second, Max Collyer had a beauty from a feed by Cole Hunter to give the Wolverines the lead 2:27 into the period.
Ben Roulette then scored off the faceoff to gave the team a two goal lead.
Sebastian Stone scored at the 9:03 mark to give the Wolverines a 5-2 lead with a great individual effort.
Waywayseecappo held on to the lead from there, killing off a 5-on-3 in the process and another minor halfway through the third period.
Wareham stopped 27 of 29 shots in the game, while Myers stopped 31 of 36 in the loss.
The Wolverines will look to make it two in a row on Thursday night when they host the Winkler Flyers at 7:30pm at the Waywayseecappo Arena.
