PREVIEW: Wolverines welcome Stampeders

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are looking to snap a three game losing streak as they host the Swan Valley Stampeders on Wednesday night.

The Wolverines (7-10-1) are two points back of the Neepawa Titans for third in the West Division, and have a three point lead over the Stamps for the final playoff spot in the West Division.

The last time the Wolverines and Stamps played was back on October 28th, when Swan Valley beat Waywayseecappo 5-2. The two teams have already played three times this year, with the Wolverines holding a 2-1 advantage with wins earlier in the season.

Waywayseecappo is coming off a 2-1 loss to the Niverville Nighthawks on Sunday, giving up the game winning goal in the back half of the third period. Their other losses on the losing streak was against Portage and Swan Valley.

The Stamps (6-12-0) are coming off a win over the weekend, beating the Winnipeg Blues 6-4 on Saturday night.
