PREVIEW: Wolverines-Steelers face off again

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines and the Selkirk Steelers will face off once again on Friday night, this time in Selkirk.

Just two days after the two teams played in a chippy affair, which led to a Steelers 3-1 win, the two will play in their third game against this season. The two will play one more in February in Selkirk.

The Steelers scored two in the third period to get themselves their first win in five games.

The Wolverines come into the game on a four game losing streak, and after the game against Selkirk will face off against Steinbach, Winkler twice, Dauphin, Northern Manitoba and Portage twice to end off the month.

The Wolverines will be looking to get on the board some more, as they have only scored four goals in their last four games. They are third last in the league, with only 40 goals scored this year.

It is expected to be another physical game, as the two teams put together 92 penalty minutes in the last contest. Surprisingly, both teams went scoreless on the powerplay, with 11 total tries between the two.
