The Waywayseecappo Wolverines and the Swan Valley Stampeders will meet for the second time this season on Tuesday night.
Both teams are trending in different directions heading into the matchup, as the Wolverines have dropped three straight games, losing to the Winnipeg Blues and the Northern Manitoba Blizzard twice. Meanwhile the Stampeders have won their last three games after starting the year 1-8. They beat the Blues, Winnipeg Monarchs and Portage Terriers in the past week.
Now because of the results of the last week, the two teams are only separated by three points in the West Division standings.
The teams met on September 30th for their first matchup of the season, and the Wolverines came from down two goals to beating the Stamps 7-5 in the game. They will meet again next Tuesday in Swan Valley and then once again on November 12th in Waywayseecappo.
Heading into the game, Wolverines forward Ben Roulette has a 12 game point streak (8 goals, 13 assist) to start the season, which is the longest streak in the league. Sebastien Hicks is right behind him with a 10 game streak (7 goals, 12 assists).
