PREVIEW: Wolverines looking for win before break

Once again, the Waywayseecappo Wolverines are looking to bounce back from a loss.

It’s not the first time this season, as the team has struggled to win two in a row the entire season, but the good news is every time after a loss, the team has won or at least got a point.

This time, they will take on the Portage Terriers, the same team they played back on Sunday and beat 5-1. In that game, the Terriers outshot the Wolverines, but timely goals and big saves by Jase Wareham, got them the win.

This will be the last game for the Wolverines until November 9th, when they head to Niverville to take on the Nighthawks.

The Wolverines sit third in the West Division, one point back of the Oil Capitals for second, but have played three more games. The Terriers are fourth in the East Divison, four points up on Winkler for the final playoff spot in the division.

Just like Waywayseecappo, Portage has gone back and forth in wins and losses in the last five games, and the last game was a loss.
