PREVIEW: Wolverines look to create separation with game against Titans

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will travel for the second straight night as they head to Neepawa to take on the Titans for the final time this season.

The Wolverines got a big win in Swan River on Friday night, beating the Stampeders 5-1. The win propelled the team into fourth place in the West Division, one point over the Virden Oil Capitals.

Along with the Wolverines playing the Titans, the Oil Capitals take on the Steinbach Pistons on Saturday as well, before the two teams face off on Tuesday in Waywayseecappo for the final time this year.

The Titans come into the game with two straight wins over the Oil Capitals, which in turn helped the Wolverines. The Titans are 5-4-0-1 in their last ten games.

In the season series, the Wolverines won the first two games, but Neepawa has won the last three.

The Titans are also battling in the West Division, but more for seeding. They are on collision course to play  the Northern Manitoba Blizzard in the first round. But the two are battling for the second spot, which in turn would have home ice advantage in the first round.
