PREVIEW: Wolverines host Kings to start final week of season

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are in the driver seat to make the MJHL Playoffs for the first time in three years, as they take on the Dauphin Kings.

With just three games remaining, the Wolverines will play the Kings in two of those games (next game on Saturday), and if all goes well, it will also be the first round opponent.

The Wolverines are three points up on the Virden Oil Capitals for the final playoff spot in the West Division. Virden will also play tonight, as they head to Swan River to take on the Stampeders.

The Wolverines and Kings have played four times this season, and the series is tied up at 2. But they have not played since December.

The Kings are also looking to wrap things up on the West Division side. They just need one point the rest of the way to clinch top spot for the division.

CLINCHING SCENARIO FOR TUESDAY:

  • Waywayseecappo win vs. Dauphin and any Virden loss vs. Swan Valley clinches the Wolverines a playoff
