The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are heading to The Pas this weekend to play a back-to-back against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
The Wolverines (5-5-0) are coming off a bad loss to the Winnipeg Blues by a score of 4-2, making it so the team has yet to win or lose in consecutive games this year.
The reigning Turnbull Cup Champions, the Blizzard (0-5-1) will be coming into the game without a win yet this season. They have only scored more than one goal once this season, which was the last game when they lost to Portage 7-2.
These will be the first and second games of the six game season series between the two teams. They will not meet again until January 9th.
Both games will be played at 7:00pm at the Roy H. Johnston Arena.
