PREVIEW: Wolverines finish weekend against Blizzard

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will finish their weekend at home as they take on their West Division Rival, the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.

A night after losing to the Steinbach Pistons, 3-1, the Wolverines will be taking on one of the top teams in the West Division, the Blizzard.

Norman is tied with Dauphin with 25 points on top of the West Division, but have played four more games that the Wolverines this season.

The Blizzard are coming off a 5-0 win over the Virden Oil Capitals on Saturday night, coming into the game on a two game win streak.

The two teams faced off three times in October, all in The Pas, with the Blizzard winning the three game series with a 2-0-1 record. The Wolverines did get a win over Norman, with a 3-2 shootout win.

The two teams play just three more times this year, and the last game is in early January. The Blizzard will return to Waywayseecappo in just two weeks.

The Wolverines head into the game, four points back of Virden for the final West Division playoff spot, with four games in hand.
