PREVIEW: Wolverines finish home stand against Flyers

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be playing their last home game for three weeks as they take on the Winkler Flyers on Tuesday night.

This game has been rescheduled twice this year, and was initially supposed to take place on September 27th. After that postponement, it was scheduled in November before a winter event kept the game from happening again.

The two teams have only played once this year, with the first game happening in November. The Flyers won that game 2-1 in overtime.

Right now, Winkler is on a ten game win streak, and has the highest winning percentage in the MJHL, and is currently sitting in second place in the East Division at 54 points, two points back of Steinbach, but only one point ahead of Portage.

Meanwhile the Wolverines, are two points back of the Virden Oil Capitals for fourth in the West Division. Those two will play next Tuesday in Virden.

For the next three weeks, the Wolverines will be on the road as they head out East on three separate occasions. This will be the last home game until February 4th against the Neepawa Titans.
