The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are looking to right the ship after a 5-3 loss to Steinbach, heading to Winnipeg to take on the newly named Monarchs.
The Monarchs are 1-6 on the year, winning last weekend against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard 3-1, but lost later on in the week to the Steinbach Pistons 6-1 and the Selkirk Steelers 13-1.
The Wolverines so far have gone back and forth with wins and losses, never putting a streak together as of yet. They lost to the Pistons last night after blowing a 2-0 lead in the first period.
This will be the first of four games in the season between the two teams, but they won’t meet again until the last game before the Christmas Break.
