PREVIEW: Wolverines back at home to take on Titans

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are back at home after seven games in a row on the road, and they will be taking on the Neepawa Titans.

Two points back of the fourth spot in the West Division, the Wolverines will be playing a West heavy schedule in February. The rest of the season, the Wolverines will be playing Neepawa twice, Swan Valley twice, Dauphin twice, Virden twice, the Winnipeg teams four times, Winkler twice and one game against Portage. The Wolverines have also played one more game than Virden so far.

The Wolverines split the weekend when they beat the Selkirk Steelers 5-1, and then lost to to the Niverville Nighthawks 3-1.

Meanwhile, the Neepawa Titans sit in third in the West Division with 47 points, two back of the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.

The Titans have played up and down hockey since the break, beating teams like Steinbach and Winkler, but losing to the Winnipeg Blues and Swan Valley Stampeders. They have lost two games in a row.

The two teams have played each other four times, and have so far split the season series. All four games were won by the home team.

In the past five years, the Wolverines are 8-3 on home ice against Neepawa.
