Mushumanski named to Western All-Star Showcase

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced it’s roster for Team MJHL at the Western All-Star Showcase in Warman, SK, and the Wolverines will have one representative at the event, as forward Dru Mushumanski has been named to the team.

12 Forwards, 6 Defenseman, and 2 Goaltenders make up the roster of 19U players who will compete against the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) over the three-day event from November 4th to 6th.

The event will serve as a pre-selection camp for Team Canada West. It will feature forty of the top 19U prospects from the MJHL and SJHL (20 players from each league). They will compete in on-ice sessions and game play during the Showcase in front of Team Canada West staff and scouts from all higher levels of hockey (NCAA/WHL/U Sports/NHL, etc.). A total of 30 players will be invited from the western CJHL leagues (AJHL, SJHL, MJHL, SIJHL).

Mushumanski arrived to the Wolverines this year after spending last season with the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League. The Rossburn, MB product has put up two goals and four assists in ten games he has played so far.
