MJHL, Wolverines release 2021-22 schedule

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has released their 2021-22 Regular Season schedule for all 12 teams, including the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

Each team will play 54 games this season, playing each team in their division eight times, and every one else two times. That equals to 40 games inside their own division, and 14 outside of it.

The Wolverines get their season started on the road on Friday September 17th against the Virden Oil Capitals at 7:30 PM.

The home opener for Waywayseecappo will be the day after, against the same Oil Capitals at 7:30 PM.

One of the exciting games in this year’s schedule is the first game against the newly named Neepawa Titans, when the two teams play Friday November 12th at the Waywayseecappo Communiplex.

All games at home will start at 7:30 PM, except for games that are on Sunday. Sunday games will start at 6:00 PM.

There is one game that won’t follow the traditional time, which will be a February 1st matinee at 1:00 PM against the Neepawa Titans. This game will host many schools around the community for a special school game.

The season ends on March 12th against Neepawa.
