Interleague Game Highlights Wolverines Preseason Schedule

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League officially released their preseason schedule on Wednesday afternoon which features the Waywayseecappo Wolverines seven-game tune-up schedule.

Waywayseecappo will kick off the preseason with a pair of home games starting off with the OCN Blizzard in town on Monday, September 2 in an all-rookie match up.

On Wednesday, September 4, Waywayseecappo will host the Neepawa Natives for the first of two preseason matchups

A highlight on the Wolverines preseason schedule will see the club travel west to Yorkton on Thursday, September 5 for an interleague tilt with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey Leagues’ Terriers.

After a day off, the Virden Oil Capitals will pay a visit to Waywayseecappo on Saturday, September 7 for the first of two preseason games. The following night on the 8th, Waywayseecappo will pack up and head north to OCN to square off with the Blizzard one last time in the preseason.

The Wolverines will make the short trip to Neepawa on Tuesday, September 10 to play the Natives one last time in the preseason before the Wolverines close out their seven-game schedule in Virden against the Oil Capitals on Saturday, September 14.

Seven days after the Wolverines wrap up their preseason schedule in Virden, the club will start their 2019-20 regular season in Neepawa on the 21 against the Natives before coming home the following night to host Neepawa.
