The Wayway Wolverines open the curtain on the 2017-18 home schedule tonight. There is plenty of excitement surrounding the night, beginning with the Tailgate Party stating at 6pm ~ presented by The WAYWAY FOOD MART. Entertainment is provided by the Dirty Catfish Brass Band.
Tonight the entire line-up will be introduced before the game begins, so that fans can get to know their favorite players “by the numbers”.
The Wolverines will be looking to secure their 1st win of the season before what is expected to be a huge home crowd, as they welcome Virden into the Den. The Oil Capitals scored big wins over Dauphin on opening weekend and are ranked 15th in the nation.
