A week after being named a Player of the Week, Waywayseecappo Wolverines Captain and forward Aidan Herring has been named the MJHL’s RBC Player of the Month for the month of January.
After coming back from the Christmas break, Herring had 11 goals, 6 assists for 17 points in 11 games throughout the month, helping lead the Wolverines to a 7-2-2 record, bringing the team within three points back of third place in the West Division.
Herring scored a goal in 7 of the 11 games during the month, which included a hat trick performance over the Winnipeg Blues on January 13th, and two more multi-goal games in back to back games on January 23rd and 24th.
The Edmonton, Alberta product has been on a more than point per game pace this year, putting up 31 points (19 goals, 12 assists) in 27 games this year.
