Harnett steps down as Wolverines Coach

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have announced that Head Coach and General Manager Taylor Harnett has resigned from his position effective immediately.

Harnett coached the Wolverines for the past seven seasons, after being hired in November of 2017. Since signing on to the job, the Wolverines made the playoffs in three of the six years that was possible. He was also the coach for the winningest team in franchise history in the 2021-22 when the team went to the playoffs with a 33-18-3 record and had the franchise record .639 points percentage.

Harnett made it clear that his decision was an extremely difficult one and that he will always consider Waywayseecappo home.

The organization would like to thank Taylor Harnett for all his work in guiding the Wolverines over the past seven years. We wish him well in his future endeavours.

The search for the next Head Coach and General Manager will begin shortly.
