Four Wolverines Selected To MJHL | SJHL Showcase Roster

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be sending four players to the 3rd Annual MJHL | SJHL Showcase, taking place on January 21 & 22 in Regina.

Nick Doyle, Jaymes Knee, Conrad Phillips, and Jack Kennedy will represent the MJHL and suit up for Team Zajac when the puck drops on the 21st in Regina.

#64 Nick Doyle | D – Winnipeg, MB

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defender sits fourth among MJHL scoring for Defencemen with 10 goals and 25 assists in 41 games. The Wolverines Captain continues to make an impact on the back end every night with his offensive upside and smarts with the puck. This season, Doyle has hit career highs in goals and assists.

#29 Jaymes Knee | F – Brandon, MB

In his first full season with the Wolverines, Knee leads the charge in team scoring with 14 goals and 27 assists in 38 games which has him 13th in the MJHL scoring. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound forward puts his speed and skill on display nightly and boasts one of the best wrist shots in the league. Knee has also reached a career-high in goals and assists. Jaymes will be in his second MJHL | SJHL Showcase.

#2 Jack Kennedy | D – Prior Lake, MN

Earning the nod to the Showcase, Kennedy brings it every night and is a “Jack” of all trades on the Wolverines back end. The 6-foot, 175-pounder sits 10th in league scoring for Defencemen with 11 goals and 12 assists in 42 games. From blocking shots to doing whatever it takes to win and chipping in on offense, Kennedy’s selection was well earned. Jack also has hit career highs in goals and assists. It will be his first trip to the Showcase.

#18 Conrad Phillips | F – Camrose, AB

The speedy centreman has taken a big step in his game from last season, earning him a spot in this year’s Showcase. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward has hit career highs in goals (16) and assists (18). Phillips is used in penalty kill and powerplay situations and isn’t afraid to throw his weight around and drop the gloves. This will also be Conrad’s first trip to the Showcase.
