Waywayseecappo Wolverines forward Boston Bird has been named the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Player of the Month for October.
The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native scored four goals and had 10 assists in eight games during the month of October.
Bird was named an MJHL Star of the Week during the month as well.
Bird has suited up in all 14 games this season and has scored five goals and 12 assists. He was acquired from the OCN Blizzard during the offseason.
