Bestul Named Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Player of the Month

Waywayseecappo Wolverines Captain, Jake Bestul was named Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Player of the Month for his tremendous contributions on the ice during the month of February.

In eleven games, the 20-year-old from Hibbing, Minnesota scored five goals and added ten assists.

In back to back games, Bestul scored two goals in what were the Wolverines most important games of the season. First on the 20th against Dauphin and then on the 22nd against Virden in a 4-2 win that helped punched the Wolverines ticket to the postseason.

Bestul continues to be the straw the stirs the Wolverines drink on and off the ice as the three-year Wolverine has found his offensive game when it has mattered the most.

He was also named a runner up as the MJHL’s Player of the Month in February. Congratulations Jake!
