Baptiste named Third Star for CJHL Stars of the Month

The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Friday that forward Carson Baptiste of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines was named the third star for its 3 Stars of the Month for December.

Baptiste wrapped up 2022 on a solid run, as he averaged over two points-per-game for Waywayseecappo.

In all, the 20-year-old Maskwacis, Alta., product had a MJHL-best nine goals and dished out four helpers, while collecting points in each December match-up he took part in.

He scored four goals in one game, which included three shorthanded goals.

Baptiste currently tops the Wolverines in point-per-game average (1.44) and sits second on the squad in offensive production with 39 points in 27 outings, on a team-high 22 tallies and 17 assists.
