Wolverines travel to Swan Valley

In the second last game of the 2017/18 season, the Wolverines travelled to Swan Valley and dressed 4 APs. Dylan Fontaine, Emmett Fairbrother, Kurtis Luke, and Tristen Dey joined the squad who were short Darren Gisti, Riley Vautour, Drayson Skulmoski and Jesse Korytko.

The Stamps caught the Wolves off guard and scored just 35 seconds into the game.  The  Stamps strike again making the score 2-0 Swan Valley.

Not to be left off the scoreboard, Jake Bestul snaps a beauty past the Stamps ‘tender at 17:36 unassisted.  The opposition quickly replied to finish the period 3-0.

At the end of the second period the score was 4-0 Stampeders.  Wolverines led the shot clock 23-15.

The 3rd period was fast paced and a lot of back and forth play.  Stampeders added 2 more but Jake Bestul popped in his second for the night from McDonald and Anderson  Final score 6-2 Swan, SOG 31-30 Wolverines.

The Wolverines travel Saturday March 3/18 to Portage to battle the Terriers in their final game of the season.
