Braden Pettinger, along with his family, returned to the Waywayseecappo Arena Complex Saturday night.
Wolverine game day announcer, Dave Mryglod delivered an emotional account of Braden’s playing history.
The Waywayseecappo First Nation presented Braden with a star blanket and Councillor Travis Cloud was on hand to present a $5,000 check to assist Braden with his on-going recovery. 2015/16 Wolverines alumni Alex Keena, Cody Durdle, Dylan Betteridge, Kristjon Finnson, Brayden Cullum, and Landyn Cochrane made the trip back to Wayway for the special event. Current players, Wade Johannesson (Captain) and Chad Kliminik were also part of the Wolverines 2015/16 roster.
